The Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the monthly financial statement closing process.  This position will also perform other duties in the area of finance operations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preparation/review of journal entries, account reconciliations.
• Update and track cash balances; prepare cash entries and reconcile cash for month end close. 
• Review fixed asset activity, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for various month end accruals. 
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and analysis.
• Provide support to the Director of Finance and Accounting Manager and leadership to the Accounting team
• Establish, maintain and update procedures, policies and internal controls related to general accounting functions as needed.
• Preparation of audit schedules. 
• This position is not supervisory at this point, but could be based on growth in this area.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
