| Description |
The Head of Experimental Medicine will be primarily responsible for the design and execution of Phase 1 and early Phase 2 clinical trials intended to achieve rapid proof of concept and Go/No go decisions. An emphasis will be placed on use of appropriate biomarkers and pharmacodynamic endpoints to help select the dose and schedule for efficacy trials as well as potential diagnostic tests to identify an appropriate patient population. This individual will work on multiple programs including early- and late-stage research and early clinical programs. This position will work closely with multiple departments, including Research, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Biometrics, Regulatory, Safety, Clinical Operations, and Medical Writing.

| Required Skills |
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of industry drug development or equivalent.
Medical monitor for oncology and/or autoimmune indications.
Medical doctor or professional health degree preferred
Ph.D. with laboratory-based experience highly desired (e.g. molecular biology, assay development, gene expression analysis, biostatistics)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
